The Prince George Cougars will head back across the border without a win, after their 4-0 loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday night. Bailey Brkin stopped all 27 shots he faced in the Chiefs’ net and Riley Woods scored twice, as Spokane won their third-straight. Wednesday marked the second time this season the Cougars were held scoreless, as they’ve now lost their last three.

UNFRIENDLY CONFINES: The Cougars lost their third-straight game in Spokane, dating back to last season. The Cougars have been outscored 19-4 in those three games. Their last win in Spokane was on March 11th, 2017.
PENALTY PARADE: 12 power-plays were handed out, nine to the Chiefs on Wednesday, and the two teams combined for four fighting majors and 104 penalty-minutes. The nine power-plays against the Cougars was a season high.
