Cougars come up just short against Giants
The Prince George Cougars had their two-game win streak come to end Saturday, in their 2-1 loss to the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre. Connor Bowie scored his first goal of the season in the loss. The Giants managed to survive the Cougars third period push, as they were outshot 17-5 in the final frame by the visitors. The Cougars were inches away from tying the game, as Cole Moberg’s point-shot nicked off the post in the dying seconds.

A NIGHT OF FIRSTS: Connor Bowie scored his first goal of the season and his first since March 17th, 2018 against the Kamloops Blazers. Both Giants’ goals were firsts for Tyler Ho and Cyle McNabb. McNabb’s game-winner was his first point this season.
GOALS FOR BROCK: In November, the Prince George Cougars Alumni Society is donating $30 for every Cougars goal to the University of Lethbridge ‘s Brock Hirsche Memorial Hockey Award. So far, through three games, $210 dollars has been donated to the scholarship in memory of the former Cougars’ Captain. More details at www.pgcougars.com/brock-hirsche
