Recap: Franklin’s big afternoon leads Blazers over Cougars

Zane Franklin had a career-high five points, as the Kamloops Blazers swept the weekend double-header against the Prince George Cougars, with a 7-3 victory Sunday after at the CN Centre. Five Blazers finished with multi-point games. Mitch Kohner picked up his first career WHL point, an assist, in the setback.

MILESTONE POINT: Rookie forward Mitch Kohner picked up an assist on the Cougars’ second goal, which was his first career point in the WHL. Kohner, 16, was selected by the Cougars in 10th-round, 201stoverall, in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.
