It’s the holiday season and the Cougars in partnership with Earls Kitchen & Bar and Salvation Army, spread some Christmas Cheer on Monday night. It was the annual Christmas Shopping with Earls, as 50 lucky kids in Prince George each received a $100 shopping spree at Walmart, courtesy of Earls.
“It’s hard to really comprehend what you get out of this,” said Earls General Manager, Dan Connelly. “When you see these kids, who come from challenging backgrounds, and their excitement in their eyes and their reactions to getting a night like this, it’s incredible. They’re buying anything from simple treats to bedding and presents for their families.”
Dan Connelly and Earls graciously bought over $5,000 worth of gifts for 50 kids at the Walmart shopping spree.
