It’s the holiday season and the Cougars in partnership with Earls Kitchen & Bar and Salvation Army, spread some Christmas Cheer on Monday night. It was the annual Christmas Shopping with Earls, as 50 lucky kids in Prince George each received a $100 shopping spree at Walmart, courtesy of Earls.

“It’s hard to really comprehend what you get out of this,” said Earls General Manager, Dan Connelly. “When you see these¬†kids, who come from challenging backgrounds, and their¬†excitement in their eyes and their reactions to getting a night like this, it’s incredible. They’re buying anything from simple treats to bedding and presents for their families.”

Dan Connelly and Earls graciously bought over $5,000 worth of gifts for 50 kids at the Walmart shopping spree.
