Cougars 50/50 Society Donates $5,500 To Northern BC Centre For Skating

Prince George BC – The Prince George Cougars 50/50 Society recently presented The Northern BC Centre for Skating a $5,500 donation. Accepting on behalf of the Northern BC Centre for Skating were 10 members of their ice crew.

Shannon Stratton, President of the Northern BC Centre for Skating says the donation will be going towards Athlete Development for the skaters, “The Northern BC Centre for Skating is very appreciative of the opportunity to have worked alongside the Cougars for the 2021-22 season,” said Stratton. “Our skaters looked forward to “Game Nights” with the Cougars, they all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and memories they received.”

About the Prince George Cougars: The Prince George Cougars have been a proud member of the Western Hockey League since 1994. The Cougars play out of the CN Centre, a 5,971-seat multipurpose arena that opened in 1995.The Cougars are owned by EDGEPRo Sports & Entertainment Ltd.
