Cougars Sign CHL Import Draft Pick Becher to WHL Standard Player Agreement

Prince George BC – Prince George Cougars General Manager and Head Coach Mark Lamb has announced that CHL Import draft pick F Ondrej Becher (CZE) has signed a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Becher, 18, was selected 16th  overall in the CHL Import Draft and spent the 2021-22 season with the AZ Havirov U20 program in Czechia. The 6’0 winger had a productive season, amassing 36 points in 45 games (22G-14A). Becher also has some experience at the international level, suiting up in six games for Team Czechia U18, collecting two points in six games.

The Cougars would like to welcome Ondrej and his family to the organization, and to the city of Prince George!
