Heidt and Ziemmer Shine in Kubota Canada CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

It was a memorable night for two Prince George Cougars tonight at the Langley Events Centre. Both Riley Heidt and Koehn Ziemmer suited up at the Kubota Canada CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game. Heidt for Team Red, and Ziemmer for Team White.

For Heidt, he collected an assist for Team Red in a 4-2 loss, however, he earned Team Red’s Player of the Game Award. Heidt also added five shots on goal in the contest.

Despite no points for Ziemmer, he lead all Team White skaters in shots on goal with five.

Heidt and Ziemmer will now return back to Prince George later this week and get back at it with the Cougars on Saturday night when they host the Prince Albert Raiders for Indigenous Night. Tickets are moving fast, so make sure to secure your seats for an exciting night at the CN Centre.
