The Prince George Cougars, the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, and Northland Dodge are excited to announce the “Jeep Shot Challenge” at the 9th Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament.

On Saturday, July 9th, one lucky contestant is going to win a one-year lease to a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, courtesy of presenting sponsor Northland Dodge!

“We are excited to once again be the presenting sponsor of the tournament.  We take a lot of pride in this event and to see this be one of Northern BC’s largest fundraisers with proceeds going to support Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation,” said Northland Dodge Dealer Principle, Kyle Bachman. “This year we are also adding to the excitement by giving away a one-year lease on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara, guaranteed!”

The Jeep Shot Challenge will take place in the afternoon of Saturday, July 9th, six contestants will be drawn to participate in the Jeep Shot Challenge at the Prince George Golf & Curling Club. The closest shot to the hole will win a one-year lease on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara! Every player participating in the tournament will be automatically entered in the draw. Golfers have the option to buy additional entries for $20 each.

“We are so excited to see the return of the Prince George Cougars Alumni Charity Golf Tournament this year, and so thankful for the incredible support it receives from the community year after year,” said Darcy Bryant, Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation Board Chair. “This tournament has helped equip the North with much needed Cardiac equipment and we will be continuing to direct funds to this critical area with proceeds from the tournament this year.  Since its inception, the tournament has raised well over $550,000 which simply would not be possible without the sponsors, supporters, participants and partnership with the Prince George Cougars and Cougars’ Alumni that we are so thankful for.”

The 9th Annual Prince George Cougars Alumni Hospital Charity Golf Tournament is back as a two-day event, July 8-9, at the Prince George Golf & Curling Club.

Once again, fundraising proceeds for this year’s tournament will focus on Cardiac Care.
