Leppard Invited to Lightning Development Camp

Jackson Leppard is one of five invitees attending Tampa Bay Lightning Development Camp in Brandon, Florida, this week. Leppard is among a group of 27 prospects that consist of Lightning draft picks, free agents and invitees. The Development Camp runs June 26th to 30th.

Leppard set career highs in goals (15), assists (21) and points (36) in 68 games in his sophomore season. Fraser Rodger, Manager Broadcasting & Media Relations, caught up with the Cougars. The 18-year-old details his off-season training program, a new wrinkle hes incorporated into his regime and his expectations for himself in the 2018-19 season.

The Development Camp will feature some of the Lightning’s top prospects competing in on- and off-ice workouts as well as skating and shooting drills. The Camp culminates with a three-on-three mini tournament on Friday and Saturday.
